Privacy Policy

HOST Libya is a trade event organised by ATEX International Exhibitions. The organiser is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact details are on the Contact page.

When you complete a form on this website (register your interest, book a stand, request the event brochure, apply to speak, or subscribe to the newsletter) we collect the details you provide, such as your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, country, sector and any message you write.

We also record the time of your submission and the page it was sent from, and we store your language preference in a cookie so the site opens in the language you last used.

We use your details to respond to your request, to send you the information you asked for, to process your registration or stand enquiry, and to keep you informed about HOST Libya, including dates, venue, programme and exhibitor announcements.

If you register as a visitor, your badge and event information are sent to the email address you provide.

We process your data to take the steps you ask for before and during your participation in the event, and on the basis of your consent where you subscribe to updates. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

We share data only with service providers who help us run the event and this website, such as email, registration and hosting providers, and only for the purposes above. We do not sell personal data. Sponsors and partners receive data only where you have agreed to it, for example when you register for a sponsored session.

We keep your data for as long as needed to run the event and to keep you informed about future editions, or until you ask us to delete it.

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to its use, or ask us to stop sending you updates. Write to the operations and general enquiries contact on the Contact page and we will respond without undue delay.

This website sets one functional cookie to remember your language choice. It does not set advertising cookies. If analytics or marketing tools are added, this policy will be updated and your consent requested where required.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
