HOST Libya is a new trade event for Libya's food, hotels and hospitality industry. The inaugural edition takes place in Benghazi in Q4 2027, with exact dates to be announced.
The event is brought to you by ATEX International Exhibitions, the organisers of Libya Build, which returns to Benghazi for its 19th edition on 3 to 6 May 2027. That experience now comes to food, hotels and hospitality.
The launch edition is built around three core areas: food and beverage, hospitality covering hotels, restaurants and cafés, and food manufacturing. It welcomes every business that supplies, serves and equips them, from restaurant and café brands and franchise concepts to equipment, interiors, technology, cleaning and hygiene, processing and packaging, ingredients, refrigeration and cold chain.
Alongside the exhibition, three activation areas keep the right audience on the show floor. The Chef Showdown puts Libya's culinary professionals head to head in live cooking rounds on the main stage. The Barista Competition brings coffee professionals together for timed rounds. The Industry Talks open with a conference on building Libya's food and hospitality supply chain, followed by sessions on sourcing, franchising, food production and hotel operations.
The organisers are targeting more than 100 exhibitors and brands, more than 5,000 visitors across four days and more than 2,500 square metres of exhibition space. Founding exhibitors will be announced as they confirm.
